Yesterday in Detroit during the North American International Auto Show BMW supported by representatives of several famous American Olympians, including Janet Evans and Apolo Ohno presented the new concept car, sedans ActiveHybrid 3 and ActiveHybrid 5 – new hybrid versions of the famous series 3 and 5.
BMW ActiveHybrid 3 is the first in the premium segment compact sports sedan with a full hybrid. Powered by a 6-cylinder biturbo gasoline engine with a capacity of 3 liters and 306 hp power, working with an electric motor with a capacity of 54 hp. Car also features 8-speed automatic transmission. Total power of BMW ActiveHybrid 3 is 335 hp and maximum torque is 450 Nm.
