Two new Bentley Continental V8 models will be presented today at the first day of the North American International Auto Show – the new Continental GT coupe and GTC convertible with a 4-liter V8 biturbo. The new V8 engine delivers maximum power of 507 hp (373 kW) at 6000 rev / min. and a maximum torque of 660 Nm at 1700-5000 r / min. In conjunction with the new 8-speed automatic transmission, this translates into performance in the form of: sprint from place to 100 km / h in 4.8 seconds in the case of GT coupe and a top speed of 303 km / h.
The new engine will be available in two models: Continentalu GT and Continental GTC distinctive radiator grille with black grille and red badge with the letter “B” and a black, three-piece front bumper, body-colored pillars divided. At the back we find tailpipes in the shape of figure eight, and another plaque with the letter “B”. Both models feature 20-inch alloy wheels, optionally available 21-inch, 6-spoke design with black or silver finish.
Inside were: headliner fabric Eliade, the elements of the new lining of eucalyptus with a more contemporary look, optional two-tone leather upholstery and a low center console.
Two new Coninentale will take place in the Bentley range just below the flagships: Continental GT and GTC with a 6-liter W12 biturbo power of 640 hp. Both new models have all-wheel drive with advanced Torsen differential type.
