Toyota has been expecting some really strong sales for this car because it is a small budget friendly car that has impressed many consumers during the international motor shows. Now, Toyota has announced the sale of the car which will kick off from March 2012.
Toyota is receiving really good response from the consumers all over the United States. The company revealed that in the first three days itself they have managed to sell more than 1200 units. This is one of the fastest selling Toyota vehicles till date and Toyota believes that the numbers have toppled the records set by Chevrolet Volt and Nissan Leaf. The car maker announced that their sales of Toyota Prius C have defeated the number of car sales by Chevrolet Volt and Nissan Leaf for the past month. Toyota feels that one of the main reasons why they are receiving such great response is because the car is fuel efficient and can go 53 mpg in the city at a price that does not hurt an average budget.
