Audi is a leading car marque around the world. The brand is best known for its premium models and its sporty ones too. You may no doubt have seen the Audi R8, which shares its engine with some Lamborghini models.
Of course, not everyone can afford the supercar price tag associated with the R8! Still, Audi has you covered if you want something cheaper but just as fun to drive. Today I’m going to give you a run-through of the ultra-cool Audi TT RS Coupe! Just don’t blame me if you want to throw lots of cash at your nearest Audi dealer after reading this review!
Serious performance in a stylish form
Today’s current Audi TT models look a lot different to the first generations from 1998. These days, they have Audi’s current styling and design language implemented into them. Of course, the sleek looks of this fast coupe isn’t the only thing to make your mouth water.
The Audi TT RS Coupe boasts a 395 horsepower 2.5-liter turbocharged motor. It will get you from zero to 60 mph in a blistering fast 3.8 seconds. In fact, it’s just as fast as the R8 GT from a 0-60 point of view!
Under the hood, the motor also packs a lot of torque. That means you’ll enjoy a smooth power band right across the rev range. Audi limits the engine to a top speed of 155 mph. But, unofficial figures claim the motor’s good for 174 mph. So, if you fancy driving your TT on the track, you’ll get up to super-fast speeds.
Audi Quattro all-wheel drive system
Another major selling point of the Audi TT RS Coupe is the fact that it’s got a 4×4 drivetrain. The world-famous Quattro all-wheel drive system comes as standard on this particular model.
What does that mean for you? Well, the car will handle well on almost any type of terrain. So, it doesn’t matter whether you’re driving on dry, wet or icy roads. You won’t end up killing your car – or yourself, for that matter!

So far, we know that the car’s engine packs a punch, and you can drive the TT RS Coupe almost anywhere. But, what about its looks? Well, the good news is Audi doesn’t disappoint when it comes to the TT’s styling!
The latest generation TT is no ugly duckling as standard. Still, Audi has ramped up the design specs of the RS Coupe and made it even sleeker.
It boasts blistered and chunky wheel arches and large 19-inch alloy wheels for a start. The TT RS Coupe also comes with a sports exhaust with black tailpipes.
